Trivia: The T101’s bike jump into the storm drain was performed by stuntman Peter Kent. The motorbike was supported by one-inch cables, so that when they hit the ground, the bike and rider only weighed 180 pounds. The cables were later digitally erased.

Goofs: Revealing mistakes: In the Escape from Pescadero scene, when John and Sarah and the Terminator board the elevator, the T-1000 pries open the doors and is about to walk in. The T-101 then blasts his head open with a shotgun. We are briefly shown a clip from a behind the T-1000 camera angle, and before the shot is fired, we can distinctly see the inside of the model head used for the shot. When the shot is finally fired, the head precedes to pop open to generate the effect of being blown up.
